It is a terrible emptiness, to step into the center of paradox where nothing is what it is nor what it is not. It takes time for the body to adjust to believing and not believing at the same time. To feeling and not feeling, to knowing and not knowing. It takes time for the body to familiarize itself with this emptiness. For all that has made the world familiar is no longer there to ward off the great emptiness.
Do not fear that you are lost. Know, you are in the crack that leads to other worlds. The body stops here to seek to adjust to the emptiness before proceeding. It may take a few years of this strange detachment, but one day the body says - 'I can come now' - and a movement begins. You cannot hasten the coming of this day, that is the emptiness. You must merely wait. And what you are waiting for is -'will'. You are gathering your personal power. You are doing this by allowing the old ways to wither, the old desires to grow dim. This too is the emptiness. Be patient. All the years of struggle may appear to have come to nothing and in a certain sense it is true. You have entered the Great Emptiness, where sorrow and joy have no power to sway you, where hope and desire are but words. This is the Great Divide. It is not the numbness of those too fearful to meet the challenges of the spiritual awakening, it is the emptiness of having exhausted the illusions of this world. The body, which belongs to this world, is naturally bewildered as to how to proceed. All that it has valued and known to be true, no longer stirs it. The body must begin to dissolve, it must begin to let go. A new unknowable impulse is beginning to arise, an impulse that will appear unbidden out of the void. You cannot affect this impulse other than to wait for it and be willing for it to come and transform you.
Dear One, the emptiness is the untangling of the thoughts that have kept you trapped in a world of duality - a world that is kept together by your agreement. Let it unravel. It matters not what you do during this passage. One act is equal to another. But when the moment comes to move - Move. Do not miss the moment, for when it passes, it may not come again.
