And so you see it has come this movement inevitable......Dear One, when the bowl has been cracked there is nothing to do but to find the crack and work to seal it once more. When too much water is in the cup there is nothing for the water to do but to overflow. It is imperative to see the crack and to heal it, to know the cups capacity and to give only what water it can hold.

You do not see, nor do you differentiate, one cup from another. You see potential and that rests in tomorrow, not in today. You see wholeness and that rests in eternity, not in this world. Unless you can let go of unity and embrace separation you cannot be of service to any man. For our human selves must be allowed their fracture so that healing can come. And likewise, unless you can see the unity, your oneness with all of creation, you cannot recognize the spirits true nature. You will flounder in that separation and not find the direction in which you must go, for we are not isolated entities adrift in a fathomless sea.

Dear One, the plunge of the soul into the body is a fearsome fall, a terrible compression. It is this fall that wounds us all. You cannot save any person from its potent shock, not can you reunite with another to soothe the pain of its rupture. To allow another their journey of sorrow is as it should be. You must come into this world fully now and see with the eyes of the mortal self, not with the eyes of the infinite soul alone. You must meet another in their small separateness. You cannot reunite with them until this human life is through. If you are to be in right relationship you must stand back and allow the loneliness of this world, for this is the lesson that is ours to learn. You can remind another of their eternal nature, you can cause them to catch a glimpse of it and this will give courage for the journey of individuation, but you must not try to enter and to merge with another. We have taken on this human form in order to know the separateness of self. It is each persons individual work to know themselves and to return into harmony with the whole. Do not attempt to change this arduous journey. Stand alone. Tolerate the separation. Allow others to live the loneliness that is theirs to endure. Seek not to fill their empty cup. Pull in. Hold. Allow.

The pain is the healing, The loneliness is the return.

You are too much in a hurry. If you see even a slight opening, you rush in, in the hope of healing everything all at once so that the pain my be diminished. You do not grasp fully the essential value of time and of suffering. Little by little the vessel is healed and only when it is strong enough is it ready to contain and express its own true nature.

Come into this world. You are not formless here. You must stand apart.
This is what baffles and bewilders you. This is why you long to merge with another beyond what is possible or appropriate for them. Each person must work long and hard to grasp that they are, in truth, but a cell in a larger body. For now, each one of us must know ourselves as a cell, separate and apart. Only then will we become ready to merge and come home.

You are more in remembrance of you eternal nature than are most people. Do not burden them with an energetic infusion that is too great for them to contain. Recognize the cups capacity, offer a sip and then turn away. Understand this distinction and all will be well.

You are too porous, too much of the other world bleeds through you. You must learn to touch this world sparingly. Do not engage with others too closely. You cannot alter your essential nature. You can merely understand the effect it has on others and take responsibility for it. You must now learn to respond to others with a wise detachment and as separate from them. You may know that this separation is but a false illusion, but this is for each to discover for themselves. As Jesus has said... "be in this world, but not of it".. ... Do not try to live as if you were still 'there', when you are 'here'. Even though you know the two to be inseparable, you must live as if all is not One, that Oneness may be regained through this illusion of separation.

This is the paradox. We are each a solitary being, and yet we are all but one single entity. We are alone. We are united. The two in one . The one made two. This is the way of it. It is a great sorrow. It is an ecstatic verity, an irrefutable truth and wonder. Become both the water and the cup. The spirit and the body. The marriage of Heaven and Earth. The eternal made finite. The finite made eternal. This is the way of it. To be one without the other is to be incomplete and to exhaust yourself. To teach one without teaching the other is to ensnare and to lead astray. The two must be made to dwell as one. This is the Great Work, the great journey , to find the individual Self that it may surrender into the eternal Self and yet remain separate and apart. Do not sacrifice one for the other, Dear One, or the journey will not fulfill its' purpose and you will not serve the Whole as your heart so desires.
