GRIZZLY

by Ann Mortifee

Some say he's cuddly
Some say he's mean
Some say he's snuggly
Some say "He's a fiend"
Some say he's beautiful
Some say he's not
What a reputation the Grizzly's got

I know a Grizzly
His name is BIG BEN
He loves to play frizzby
With me now and then
He's a mighty fine catcher
He throws so well too
And there's lots of other things he can do

Ben can pick berries
Share honey with bees
When Ben makes merry
He dances with me
Ben takes me swimming
When the pink salmon swarm
And if I get cold his fur keeps me warm

Ben, Ben, BIG Ben is my friend
I liked him right from the start
Ben, Ben, BIG Ben is my friend
I'll keep him safe in my heart

I say he's cuddly
Some say he's mean
I say he's snuggly
Some say "He's a fiend"
I say he's beautiful
Some say he's not
What a reputation the Grizzly's got

What a reputation my friend
BIG Ben, the Grizzly has got.
